Friday, April 26th, 9:30 -10:30am
Muffins and coffee will be provided.
In her early days at Bowdoin, Kristen considered herself to be pre-med and also explored a possible MD/PhD. Come and learn how she decided on a PhD in neuroscience at Yale instead!
During this informal conversation, Kristen will share her own path of career exploration with you, offering insight about medicine vs. research vs. medical research. She will also be able to shed light on the biotech industry as well.
Also, don’t miss Kristen’s talk entitled ”Molecular mechanisms governing neuronal development and plasticity in the mammalian brain” hosted by the neuroscience department the night before the breakfast (Thursday, April 25th).
