Follow the markets and make your trades – The Bowdoin College Finance Society is once again sponsoring a spring Stock Trading Contest via Investopedia.
Here is your chance to compete against your peers without risking any real money. If you are exploring a career in finance, here is your chance to enhance your understanding of the stock market. The Finance Society Stock Trading Contest will also help you to build your story for summer internships and full-time positions in the world of finance.
Here’s How to Join the Stock Trading Contest
1) If you are not registered, create an Investopedia account to use for the stock simulator
2) Go to: http://www.investopedia.com/simulator/, and sign in
3) Click on Add/Edit Games, then Join Game
4) Search for “BCFS Spring 2014 Trading Contest”
5) Click on the link; the password is PolarBear2014
The game is underway will run until April 28th and prizes will be awarded as follows: 1st place: $100, 2nd place: $ 50, 3rd: $25, 4th: $25, Best Trade: $25, Best Contribution to Stock Picking Discussion: $25
