MiddCORE comes to Bowdoin for a second year to engage students in a signature workshop from their MiddCORE Program, based out of Middlebury College. MiddCORE workshops and their immersion programs help students build key skills in communication, leadership, and entrepreneurship.
Students who participated in workshops on-campus last year found the interactive sessions to be helpful and extremely rewarding.
Sign up is now open for current students to participate in this year’s workshop. The Persuasive Speaking Workshop is free for Bowdoin students; two sessions are available.
MiddCORE Persuasive Speaking Workshop
Friday, November 15 | Two Sessions: 12:15pm or 2:45 pm
No new idea ever travels any further than the innovator’s ability to tell its story. We often spend all our waking hours building the message and almost no time training the instrument of the messenger. This workshop uses techniques and insights from the world of theater, movement and neuroscience to tame and train the voice and body we use every day. It is fun, active and transformative.
