What is ECCD?
Eastern College Career Day (ECCD) is a day-long interviewing event where organizations conduct interviews with highly qualified liberal arts undergraduates from Amherst, Bowdoin, Colgate, Hamilton, Middlebury, Skidmore, St. Lawrence and Wesleyan. Check out the “What’s ECCD?” video.
Students apply to a variety of positions provided by the organizations. Fields include Law, Business, Finance, Science Research, and Technology.
This is a great opportunity for you to interview for multiple positions with different companies, all in the same location.
How it works
- Employers register to be a part of Eastern College Career Day and submit job opportunities that they would like students to apply to and potentially interview.
- Students need to apply by Sunday, February 9, 11:59 PM on the ECCD website
- Employers review applications and they notify us of the students they’ve selected to interview. Students then choose their interview time slots.
- Interview day in NYC takes place on Friday, March 7, 2014 at the American Management Association.
To apply
- Create an account at http://eccdb.experience.com. This website uses the same Experience system as eBEAR, so it will look very familiar.
- Once logged in, click the Interview Schedules link on the left side of the screen.
- Click on any job title to view the position description and apply.
- Please note: You will need to upload and resume and cover letter (and an unofficial transcript for some position) before you can apply. Do this by going to Documents, then click Upload a Document.
- If you need assistance, don’t hesitate to contact Career Planning, (207) 725-3717.
We encourage you to apply early, and not wait for the deadline to submit your applications. If you make an effort to apply before the deadline, you will have time to deal with any problems you may encounter. If you wait until the last minute, and something goes wrong, you might not be able to get your applications submitted in time!
